Abstract :
प्राकृतिक स्थलों पर जनसंख्या का बढ़ता दबाव, पर्यटन घनत्व को प्रदर्शित करता है। जिससे पारिस्थितिकी का निरन्तर ह्रास हुआ है। इसी कारण पारिस्थितिकी पर्यटन की अवधारणा तेजी से उभर कार सामने आयी है। इसके तहत पर्यटन अभियांत्रिकी संरक्षण की आवश्यकता है। 1998 में पारिस्थितिकी पर्यटन से सम्बन्धित नीति एवं दिशा निर्देश तैयार किये गये परन्तु उसका पालन पूर्णतया सम्भव न हो सका।
