Religiosity in Nigeria: Bane or Blessing to National Development

This study examined the state of Nigerian growth, vis a vis the setbacks impeding the development to the extent that the level of religiosity of her citizens had influenced or affected it. One can ask whether it is beneficial or not. In Nigeria, more than 80 percent of the population identifies with one religion or the other and this has a major impact on how people co-exist, as religions offer both potentials and risks.
